I was born in 1975 in Budapest, Hungary. The way I got interested in music is quite a cliché. We had an old piano in our living room and I started to find out some melodies I heard in the cinema earlier. Although I learnt music from a couple of teachers for rather short periods of time, I learned to play the piano in an autodidactic way.
Musical experiences
My activities as a musican started in 1988, when I got familiar with Invisible Touch, the then-current album of Genesis. Their personal approach and professional way of producing music have always been exemplary for me.
After my school bands of elementary and grammar schools I was invited to „You and I”, my country’s most successful and recognized classic progressive rock band of those times. We spent four years together, released two albums and had several memorable gigs. The band separated in 2001 and a new formation arised called M-A-Y-A (Music As You Are). We composed a full-length concept album, Timshel (Thou Mayest), but never recorded it. Yet. ELPirates, an ELP tribute trio was also formed by ex-You and I members in 2003. We played the whole Pictures at an Exhibition. In pirate outfit!
An other line of my musical career is the cooperation with composer/singer/bassist Tamas Naszvagyi. Our collaboration started back in 1992 and still existing today. I played on several of his albums and gigs.
Currently (in 2013) I am working hard on finishing and recording Timshel, M-A-Y-A’s concept album, as well as some of my really old stuff, and I also plan to record a new version of Mussorgky’s (and ELP’s) Pictures at an Exhibition, named Pirates at an Exhibiton.

Other stuff
I graduated from the University of Physical Education and later the College for Foreign Trade in Hungary. I worked for several multinational media companies: TV channels, telecommunication companies, publishing houses. My job has always been connected with digital contents and creativity in some way. Today I work as a freelancer, running my own company. I design and realise interactive multimedia entertainment and educational applications, mostly for the iPad and iPhone.

My first band photo. I was already multi-instrumental! Flute and percussion simultaneously.
